Lance Smith Publishes Sports Book Reviews So Quickly That I Have Trouble Keeping Up

, , ,

Lance Smith, also known as The Guy Who Reviews Sports Books, holds the unofficial record for the most sports-book reviews. In short, he’s a machine. Now he’s taking a breather. Here’s why.

Since he started his blog, Lance has read and reviewed hundreds of sports-related books. Now, he’s showing signs that he’s human.

This past Sunday, Lance announced on his blog that he’s taking a break for personal and professional reasons. According to the post, it’s all good. He has a great reason, and it’s not fatigue.

Lance is also working on his debut novel, which appears to be a romantic comedy. It revolves around a ballpark beer vendor and a pre-med volleyball player. His readers know that volleyball is one of Lance’s passions.

I hope he hits a home run. Meanwhile, I’ll use this hiatus to catch up on reading his reviews. Lance has been churning them out faster than I could keep up. Whew!
