Swift-Kelce Moment Could Make Super Bowl History

Cyberspace is loaded with chat that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are the stars in a conspiracy to rig Super Bowl 58.

This year’s lineup for the 2024 Super Bowl will be the San Francisco 49ers against the Kansas City Chiefs. The 49ers can win their first Super Bowl championship since 1995. Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs can win their fourth Super Bowl championship and their second in a row.

There will be drama and great music, too. But will Super Bowl 58 be rigged?

Here’s one possibility. We know that Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has been dating pop sensation Taylor Swift and that she has made numerous appearances at KC’s games. Many viewers are happy to see the pop star cheering on her boyfriend, but others are annoyed by the persistent footage.

So, what’s the rig? The Chiefs win, and while players and fans are celebrating, Swift races onto the field and straight into Kelce’s arms. Kelce goes on one knee and proposes to the pop star in front of everybody there and millions watching around the world.

While that scenario sounds like something out of a Hollywood film, the issue is whether it’s a moment that the NFL and CBS (the televising network) dream of. It would be one of the greatest moments in NFL history, sure to generate billions of views and lots of $, and something that the NFL and CBS would love to have happen. The question is whether they will make it so.

But there’s more, and it’s about the Super Bowl being rigged with political intent.

No matter what, the important thing is that Super Bowl 58 is being played for the NFL championship. So, which team do you want to see win? Chiefs? 49ers? And what about Taylor Swift?

Here’s what I think about the pop star. Love her or not, Taylor Swift has added spice to NFL 2023-24, drawing millions to watch NFL football who might not otherwise pay attention to the games. They’re not only watching, they’re sharing opinions, too.

It’s another example of the strong connection between the sports and entertainment worlds.
