While both Atkins and Scholl possess deep-rooted love for youth basketball, their roles extended beyond coaching – they were architects of a profound vision that aimed to shape not just athletes but leaders of the future. “The clinic epitomized the power of unity, serving as a beacon of development and diplomacy on a global canvas,” said Scholl.

Joe Touré of the NBA Academy Africa in Senegal, professional player Anthony Ireland of the PLK’s HydroTruck Random, and Patrick Engelbrecht, representing the Toronto Raptors, were among the exceptional coaches whose collective wisdom illuminated the young athletes in attendance.

Phiri-Mazarura, Sports Director at St. Stithians Girls College and the former Head of Basketball and Tournament Director at St John’s College, was instrumental in bringing the transformative camp to life. “Together with the unwavering support of visionary coaches like Jamal and Scholl, we’re shaping a future where sportsmanship, unity, and Olympism stand as pillars of progress,” said Phiri-Mazarura.
