My 2023-24 NFL Fantasy Picks

,

This NFL Fantasy season was my first go in quite a while, and it reminded me of how much fun Fantasy Football can be. So, I’m already gearing up for 23-24, looking to improve this year’s performance. Here are my top five picks.

1. WR Justin Jefferson. I had him on my team, and while there were some major busts in Weeks 17, 11, and 3, he made up for it in point production throughout the rest of the season. Jefferson is someone you want to have on your roster; he has built his reputation with the Vikings and will continue to get more targets.

2. RB Jamaal Williams. The Lions used him consistently when they got into scoring position, and he’s the type of player to pick up to cover for injuries and even start in some matchups. Williams racked up significant point production in several matchups, scoring three consecutive touchdowns in one game. If the Lions have the ball in the end zone, they run it through Williams.

3. QB Jalen Hurts. Hurts is young, and–if he can stay healthy–he’s my #1 QB. This year, he had solid point production, scoring under 20 points only three times and missing two games. Hurts is a cheat code, but wait until Mahomes and Allen are gone to start drafting your QBs.

4. TE Dallas Goedert. When Goedert is healthy (he missed a few games this season to injury), he produces a lot of points (for a tight end, that is). With a season-high of 24, Goedert is a clear option for TE unless you can pick up Travis Kelce (always do that if you can).

5. WR Tyreek Hill. I picked up Tyreek surprisingly late in the draft, which makes sense, considering the questions about how he would mesh with the Dolphins’ offense. Well, Hill fit in quite nicely. Hill started Week 2 by dropping 42 points, but low production a game later made me a bit skeptical. I was proven wrong by his performance the rest of the season; he rarely scored fewer than 20 points. I think he’ll go much higher in the 2023-24 Draft, so pick him if you get a chance. Miami will be firing on all cylinders after getting knocked out of Super Bowl contention by the Bills, and Hill will be a top offensive generator.

I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing this column, and I wish fans the best of luck in picking their NFL Fantasy teams.
