Mithun Pranav finished third place overall–and champion in the Under-9 category–in the 27th Saturday FIDE Rated Rapid Tournament held in Singapore on Saturday, October 1. The tournament, organized by ASEAN CHESS ACADEMY, was conducted on board and time control for the players was 20 mins for 7 rounds Swiss. This FIDE Rapid tournament saw a varied mix of top-rated and upcoming players.
