Tom Brady, NFL Analyst

, ,

With name recognition, his penchant for preparation, and his high football IQ, Tom Brady is likely to succeed in the TC booth.

Tom Brady retired once, and now, he is coming back to the Buccaneers. The NFL GOAT is trying to figure out what to do with his life, and it is certain now what he will do after football.

I have always told friends that I thought Brady would work for one of the networks once he hangs up his cleats. My prediction will come true.

Working for FOX as an NFL analyst (color man) now appears certain, which means that one of the other options–to become part-owner of the Dolphins–will not, at least for now. The plan, so we were told, was for him to go to Miami to be part owner and their quarterback, but that quickly changed after the Brain Flores lawsuit was filed.

The alternative has Brady signing a ten-year, $375 million-dollar deal to join Kevin Burkhardt and FOX Sports. Brady will be the network’s lead NFL analyst as soon as he retires.

How will Brady fair in his new role? I think he’ll do very well. I say that because I believe he will take the same approach he has taken on the field to the booth: he prepares and has a high football IQ. He studies and knows the game well.

It remains to be seen if Brady will ever get his eighth Super Bowl ring, but perhaps an Emmy (or two) is in his future. Time will tell.
