Tom Brady, The Record-Breaker

Tom Brady will go down as one of the greatest, if not the greatest quarterback, in NFL history. Who saw that coming? And when might it end?

Tom Brady wasn’t sure if he would even be drafted, and six other QBs were drafted in 2000 before Brady got the call as the 199th pick. Now, he has elite status, among the best of the best, if not THE best of all time.

Brady has the record for the quarterback with the most Super Bowl rings and, this year, he broke the record for most passing yards, surpassing Drew Brees. He’s second behind Peyton Manning for the most 4th quarter comeback wins.

Brady has gone on record saying that he could play until he’s 50 years old. Will he? If he does, Brady will be the oldest player ever to play NFL football, surpassing George Blanda, who retired at age 48. Talk about a human interest story that happens to be about football!

I know TB has a lot of detractors. But if you’re like me, you’ll be rooting for him to continue playing … and breaking more records along the way.
