Abdelrahman Elghadban is one of Egypt’s most talented basketball players. If anyone could take Egypt’s name higher in the basketball world, it would be Elghadban.
Born in Cairo in 1994, the 6’3/191 cm point guard has exceptional shooting abilities, In the Cape Verde Basketball League, he averaged five 3s per game in his 19.4 points-per-game average.
When asked about his goals, Abdelrahman said, “Obviously, the NBA is the ultimate dream for any basketball player. I always wanted to be the first Egyptian–born player to compete in the NBA. If I had been born in the States, I would have been in the NBA by now. But I also know that the road is long considering where I am from and the obstacles we face daily. However, sometimes you have to overcome more than the guy next to you, and that’s life.”
