In eSports, Dallas Empire Wins Season Opener

Defending champs beat Seattle.

Last year, the Dallas Empire won the 2020 Call of Duty League Championship by beating theĀ  Atlanta FaZe. Call of Duty fan and artist Post Malone became a team owner.

On Thursday, Dallas Empire opened their season against the Seattle Surge. Each team contributed their own spice, but Dallas ended up winning, 250-98. Among the standouts were Scump Abner and FormaL Piper.

I have high expectations for Dallas Empire this season.

And on Valentine’s Day, esports team Dallas Empire competed in Game Two of their season for The Call of Duty League. Their competitor was The Minnesota Rokker, who crushed them in the match, three rounds won to two. This is Dallas Empire’s first loss in 203 days, after losing to Toronto in July of last year. The Empire’s weaknesses in this match were The Search and Destroy portions of the match and their lack of proper defense. If Dallas wants to take home another championship trophy this season, they better work on their defense and improve their strategies in Search and Destroy rounds. The Dallas Empire has a match against The London Royal Ravens on Friday. They have until then to step up their search and destroy game and defense.
