Sheck Wes and the NBA? Didn’t Happen, But Something Else Did

, , ,

NBA said no, but France said oui.

Mo Bamba rapper Sheck Wes played high school ball and has NBA aspirations. Thinking that he had a chance of being drafted this year, Wes released a song, Been Ballin, to keep him motivated.

His dream was dashed when no team picked him. Instead, Wes signed a contract to play for a pro team in France. Wes crowed on Instagram: “I WILL BE TAKING MY TALENTS OVERSEAS TO THE BEAUTIFUL CITY OF PARIS TO JOIN @paris.basket CLUB, STAY TUNED, PARIS MON TELEPHONE SONNE TOUJOURS.”

Toutes nos félicitations, I say!. Congratulations, Wes.
