Larry King Loved Sports

,

TV icon Larry King died Saturday from complications associated with COVID-19. He had been hospitalized for weeks.

During an impressive 63-year career, King conducted over 50,000 interviews on TV and radio and acted in various films, including Gravity Falls (featured below), Bee Movie (featured below), Shrek 2, and Shrek The Third.

Sports were an important part of King’s life, including covering games and featuring sports figures on his radio and, later, on his long-standing CNN nightly show. Recently, he was photographed celebrating with his family when the LA Dodgers won the World Series.

As King would say, “Instead of goodbye, how about so long?” So long and RIP, Larry King.
