Yaya is now a mama.
Earlier on these pages, I wrote about Yaya Mayweather and NBA Youngboy, and it was a troubling situation, to say the least. Mayweather was facing the possibility of a long-term prison sentence for allegedly stabbing Youngboy’s ex-girlfriend, who was also the mother of his child. Eventually, though, Mayweather didn’t serve a long sentence, and she’s out of jail now.
Mayweather, a music artist, is also the daughter of boxing great Floyd Mayweather. That connection, plus her on- and -off stormy relationship with Youngboy, has her in the news.
And, finally, there’s good news to share. In late 2020, Mayweather and Youngboy welcomed a child. I hope that parental responsibilities will help the two grow up and set a good example for their child.
