It’s a basketball film of note.

Previously, I announced that the late rapper, Pop Smoke, had a basketball film coming out in March. It’s entitled Boogie. In the film, Pop plays Monk, rival to the main character, Boogie Chin.

Directed by Eddie Huang, this movie will confirm Pop’s legacy and could even receive Oscar nominations.

There’s a new trailer for this coming-of-age sports movie, just released. With a soundtrack that includes Pop’s Got It On Me, the trailer features Boogie and Monk duking it out on the court.

The film premiers on March 5th. “Wooooooo!” as Pop Smoke would say.
