Football is Focus of Rap Video

Rap and football connect in Tap In.

If there’s a standout rap song of 2020, then it’s definitely Tap In by Saweetie, Post Malone, DaBaby, and Jack Harlow. A Billboard hit, the song isĀ  ‘tap, tap, tap in’ for football with the music video animated by KDC Visions.

The video opens at Icy University where the football team is playing a game against an unknown team, which we’ll call ‘Hotty Gang.’ DaBaby is Icy University’s coach–a team that’s losing the game, much to DaBaby’s dismay. The team’s mascot is DaBaby’s Baby.

For Malone’s part, he hopes everyone up with his verse, which can technically be referred to as a ‘Halftime Performance.’ This gets Icy University’s team so hyped that they win! To celebrate, Saweetie and Harlow throw a party at one of the U’s Frat Houses, complete with beer pong, music, and everything else.

The video currently has 4.7 million views on YouTube. Kudos to Saweetie and the Icy Gang for tap, tap, tappin’ into football.
