Let’s Rumble! Tyson v. Jones, Jr.

, , ,

Boxer Mike Tyson is back! He’s taking on Roy Jones Jr, another former boxing champion, who’s coming out of retirement to take on Tyson. With Tyson weighing in at 220 pounds and Jones Jr at 210, it’s safe to say these two people kept in shape during their hiatus.

How should we celebrate this iconic event? With music! Here are some songs that I feel are a perfect match for the match!

1. Wolves- Big Sean and Post Malone: This song seems like it should be in a movie or even a boxing match like this one.

Nemo

2. Tutu– 6ix9ine: Let’s get something clear: I hate this man. He’s rude, he’s selfish, and this song is just Fefe remade into a reggae song. The only thing that saves this song from being excluded from this list is the beat, which is similar to a sports classic from The Black Keys.

3. Mood– 24kGoldn and Iann Dior: This song is number one on the Hot 100 Billboards right now and has been remixed by Justin Bieber and J. Balvin. This song should be a staple at a whole bunch of sporting events, just like this one.

4. Me and You– GoM World: My friend is quickly making a name for himself in music. With three Eps under his belt and an album on the way, the main single from his debut EP, Love Spells, is perfect for Tyson v. Jones Jr.

5. Nightcrawling– Miley Cyrus and Billy Idol: What do you get when you combine legend Idol and pop star Cyrus into a rock song? You get the next We Will Rock You.

6. We Will Rock You– Queen: This song is a sports staple. No discussion.

7. F You, Goodbye– The Kid Laroi: This song from Savage has a Three Doors Down feel to it, perfect for Tyson v. Jones Jr.

8. Lemonade– Don Toliver, Gunna, and Nav: Combine three of the biggest names in the rap industry with Internet Money, the biggest producers in music, and what have you got? A hit song for a boxing match.

9. Body bag– Machine Gun Kelly, Yungblud, and Bert McCracken of The Used: This song has a feel of some of the earliest The Used songs. It’s also really perfect for Tyson v. Jones Jr.

10. Wishing Well– Juice Wrld: Juice made a song that combines the guitar of Blink-182 with the beats of a Tupac song. His deep song is perfect for tonight’s match. It also shows how much potential he had in music.

11. Come and Go– Juice Wrld and Marshmello: Speak of the devil, this song was included at a college basketball game and is a standard for sports to this day. So why not play it again at tonight’s fight?

12. Monika Lewinsky Parts One and Two: Saint Jhn, DaBaby, and A Boogie: Both of these versions of Jhn’s biggest hit are perfect for the match.

13. Lullaby– Lil Uzi Vert: This song has everything you could expect from a boxing song: A soft tone, an amazing sample, and bars about hard work and struggle.

14. Because of You– Future and Lil Uzi Vert: From Pluto x Baby Pluto, this song has an EDM feel for boxing to it. Maybe there will be a Pluto x Baby Pluto 2, so we have more boxing songs?

Poo

15. The Great Mighty Poo song from Conker’s Bad Fur Day: This has been my favorite game and a source of artistic inspiration for a few projects I have on the way.

There you have it. Fifteen songs that I think are a perfect match.
