Excitement abounds as youth learn how to play chess.

“Know about Chess,” a youth education session, was conducted on Friday by chess school “GO CHECKMATE” in collaboration with the Vellore Institute of Technology Alumni Association, United Arab Emirates chapter.
Conducted via Zoom, students were introduced to the basics of chess using GO CHECKMATE’S online platform.
Planned for 1 hour only, the session was expanded to 2 hours because youth were motivated to learn more about the game.
