Chicago Grizzlies, an AAU team, was created for youth development.

Rising rapper Polo G is well known for hits like Flex, which helped him earn a nomination for the XXL Freshman Class 2020. Polo has also collaborated with such rap legends as Juice Wrld, NLE Choppa, Blueface, and he doesn’t show any signs of slowing down.

Now Polo has chalked up another achievement–he founded a youth basketball team, The Chicago Grizzlies. In an interview with Slam Magazine, Polo said that the Grizzlies are important “because if these kids don’t have a positive role model or outlet to use their energy and time, they’re going to use it negatively.” He continued: “A lot of times, when kids take matters into their own hands at such a young age, it goes wrong most of the time.”

Positivity! Let’s applaud Polo G.
