Racist Acts Must Stop!

NASCAR’s Bubba Wallace is in the news for the wrong reason–victimized by a racist act.

Sports reflect society in so many ways, and America is trying to come to grips with racism. It’s a long haul affair. This week a noose was found in the garage of NASCAR’s Bubba Wallace.

Wallace is the only black driver in NASCAR’s lineup, and he’s a top performer. Wallace is ranked currently in NASCAR’s top 30.

This incident came soon after NASCAR banned the Confederate flag from its races, and that decision angered many people. One driver said he’ll retire after this season because of that decision.

To whoever put that noose Wallace’s garage, I ask: Are you out of your mind? People are created equal. Be ashamed of what you did.

Bubba, you are not alone! I stand by you as do millions of other Americans. To those ‘other’ Americans, I plead: Stop the nonsense!
