No NYC Marathon This Year! The Alternative…Music!

, ,

The New York City Marathon has been canceled, and we know the reason why. But with music, we can find a way around the disappointment.

Rockstar, DaBaby and Roddy Ricch. This song is probably the most powerful of DaBaby’s and Roddy’s music–with an upbeat tempo and motivational lyrics for running. I wouldn’t be surprised if they played it at the 2021 NYC Marathon.

It’s Crazy, Boogie and Melody. This father-daughter duo melts our hearts. And this song is perfect for running.

Keep Ya Head Up, Tupac. Every word is still as relevant as it was recorded in the ’90s.

Billie Jean, Michael Jackson. The King of Pop never disappoints.

Ice Cream Truck, Montana of 300. This tune has the perfect combination of soft energy and a fantastic drop for running.

War, Pop Smoke and Lil Tjay. With this song, the late Pop Smoke helped start Tjay’s career. It’s upbeat with a running battle cry.

100k on a Coupe, Pop Smoke and Callboy. These two legends made a good song for running.
