‘Futsal,’ a Soccer Variation, Inspires Lil Uzi Vert

Sports-themed rendition fills music space until Uzi’s next album

By now, fans are growing eager to get their hands on Lil Uzi Vert’s highly anticipated second studio album, Eternal Atake. With luck, the album should be out this year.

Until then, we can listen to singles, such as Sanguine Paradise, and hear news about Uzi as he gears up to release the album. Another single of note is about soccer, called Futsal Shuffle.

Last year, Uzi announced on Twitter that he was recording a soccer-inspired single. “The single I am going with from Eternal Atake is a dance record called Futsal.” What’s Futsal? The sport is a variation of soccer in which unlimited substitutions are permitted and it’s played on a hard court.

Thank you, Uzi! Hopefully, Eternal Atake will generate the same hype as this sports song.
