Pro basketball and rap go together like peanut butter and jelly. Shaq is one of many examples.

For years, basketball stars (like LeBron) have been putting their foot in the door of rap and recording songs and albums with some of rap’s biggest names. The great Shaquille O’Neal is one of them.

Shaq has recorded five studio albums and released a ‘Greatest Hits’ compilation. Among his recordings, is a 1966 cut with the late Notorious B.I.G. That year, Shaq released his We Can’t Stop The Reign album, which featured a collaboration with Biggie.

After the recording session, Biggie and Shaq became good friends up to Biggie’s death in 1997.

Sports fans know that that Shaq made a name for himself on the courts. But what many don’t know is that he has had an impressive rap career, including a collaboration with the late, great Notorious B.I.G.
