2020 Olympics: What I’m Expecting

,

In a world full of divisions, the Olympics brings nations together for peaceful competition.

2020 is here, and we’re ready to kick off a new decade. This also means a brand new decade in sports. And I’m looking forward to the Summer Olympics. This year, Tokyo will be holding the Olympics for the first time since 1964. What do I expect from the games?

The best athletes in the world: Only the best of the best make it to the Olympics. Will we see another Usain Bolt this year? Another Michael Phelps? Who knows? We’ll see.

Tradition: You can’t have the Olympics without the rituals, including the Opening and Closing sessions.

Young athletes: Youth have so much potential! Athletes unknown to us now will become household names.

The Olympics unite the world. Thank the Olympics for that.
