Mithun Pranav finished second place in the U-06 category at the 28th The Telegraph Schools’ Chess Championship 2019 at Kolkatta from 13-18 December.
Pranav finished with 4.5/9 points in the Open category with 466 participants. The tournament had a time control of 90 min with 30-sec from move 1.
The prize distribution ceremony was presided over by Shri Sujit Bose, West Bengal state minister, and organized by Alekhine Chess Club, Kolkatta.
