For Boonk Gang, Stunts Are an Attention-Getter

, ,

Known for his stunts, Boonk Gang now says he’s done doing crazy stuff.

Rapper and comedian Boonk Gang is well known for rap records that have brought him great acclaim. He’s also known for using sports and stunts to get attention.

Before he made it big as a rapper, Boonk was involved in high school athletics. ‘People were expecting me to be a star athlete,’ said Boonk in an interview.

Today, he’s known as a master stuntman, including what he calls ‘the gangster slip-n-slide.’ One of his stunts even landed Boonk in jail. In 2017, Boonk jumped on the counter of a Dunkin Donuts store and stole $39 worth of doughnuts while shouting expletives. For that, he was charged with theft and burglary, and sentenced to 60 days probation.

Boonk uses athletics and stunts to gain attention for his rap. But, now, he says he has changed. That’s good news as I see it. I dedicate this article to Boonk. He doesn’t need a sideshow to promote his rap.
