UKG is another example of the rap-sports connection.
The rap duo UGK (Underground Kings) is well known for the hit song, Big Pimpin with Jay-Z, which put the group on the map. UKG with Bun B and Pimp C evolved into one of the greatest rap groups of all time.
The rap duo is also known for the love and respect it has for sports. Pimp C’s basketball jersey is available on the net. And, in 2013, Bun B, performed at the Super Bowl.
Sadly, the collaboration ended too soon. Pimp C died in 2007 from complications associated with consuming Purple Drank and sleep apnea.
