Justin Bieber Has a Thing for Challenging Peers to Sports Duels

, , , ,

But the sports duels never materialize.

Justin Bieber has a long list of music hits, songs like One Time, Baby, Love Yourself, Sorry, Where R U Now, Life Is Worth Living, What Do You Mean, Don’t Check On Me, I Don’t Care, I’m The One, No Brainer, and Never Say Never.

Beiber is also known for his marriage to Hayley Baldwin, multiple arrests, and a highly publicized relationship with Selena Gomez. And, believe it or not, Beiber also has love sports, including hockey and boxing.

Bieber played hockey growing up as a child in Canada. He was pretty good, too.

Those skills came in handy when he challenged Shawn Mendes to a hockey match. “Oh, you’re on!” Shawn said on social media after Beiber offered the challenge. Thing is, though, the event never took place.

But Beiber’s taunts didn’t stop there. This year, he challenged actor Tom Cruise to an MMA match.

“If you don’t accept,” Bieber said on social media, “then you’re a coward.” Big-name fighters, the likes of Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather, began promoting the possible match … only to learn that it was a joke.

No matter, though, Justin Bieber is who he is–revered by many fans, loathed by many others. But, for sure, his music will likely live on forever.
