The real version is delicious but hazardous to your health. My version is better for you. Try it!

Baseball and food go together.

Each park has special offerings. And at Chase Field in Phoenix–home of the Arizona Diamondbacks–it’s the ‘Churro Dog.’

What’s that? It’s a hot dog topped with vanilla ice cream, chocolate, and caramel sauces, whipped cream, and with a cherry on top.

But, let’s face it: it’s unhealthy (called “hellthy”) with 1,117 calories and too much fat to count.

So here’s another option for you.

Ingredients

1. 1 Cup of whole wheat flour
2. 2 tablespoons of Stevia (sweetener)
3. 1 egg, beaten lightly
4. 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
5. 1/8 teaspoon of nutmeg
6. 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt
7. 2 tablespoons of almond milk
8. 1 package of yeast
9. 3 scoops of fresh frozen yogurt
10. Fresh whipped cream
11. Chocolate syrup
12. Caramel syrup
13. 1 whole wheat bun

Preparation

1. Mix the dry ingredients and the wet ingredients separately.
2. Mix both together.
3. Fry in coconut oil until crispy.
4. Put the dog on whole wheat bun.
5. Top with the frozen yogurt, fresh whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and caramel syrup.
6. Makes 8 servings.

Try it. You’ll like it!
