Man City’s aura casts spell over Premier League.

As is so often the case with other teams over the past few seasons, last weekend the Premier League title race pressure caught Liverpool. Liverpool slipped to second place, trailing log leaders Manchester City by a mere point.

That slip worried a lot of Liverpool fans, who are quite aware of Man City’s capabilities.

That slip-up prompted ridiculous opinions from football pundits across the world, such as, “Klopp and his men have given Man City the title on a silver platter.” While there’s something to be said about that–given the way Man City won the title triumph last year–the title race is not over. In fact, is up in the air.

Klopp’s men might have experienced a dip in form, but there are nine games to play, starting with Burnley on Sunday.
