Real Amigos Suffer Loss in League Opener

Real Amigos, a semi-finalist last year, also opened the 2018 season with a loss.


The Phililam Life 7s football League kicked off last Sunday at McKinley Hill Stadium, Manila with twelve teams in action. Real Amigos FC was on the losing side of the ledger, suffering a 3:0 defeat at the hands of Delomondo FC.

Real’s captain, Otuyemi Emmanuel, believes his team will bounce back from the loss. “I’m confident that we’ll turn things around the way we did last season after the loss to Super Eagles in the first game.”

Emmanuel is impressed with the teams in the league, believing they are generally stronger than they were last year when Real Amigos finished in the semi-final.

It won’t take long to find out. Real Amigos FC will be back in action this Sunday, 6:20p, at McKinley Hill Stadium. Bohemian will be the opponent
