Last Saturday, Naomi Osaka added yet another trophy to her collection. She won the Australian Open, the second Grand Slam title of her short career. The Japanese champion burst on the scene last September when she beat Sarena Williams to win the U.S. Open.

That was the first of what now seems to be many championships. Still, though, the very thought of that takes Osaka’s breath away. “I was in a state of shock through the entire trophy presentation,” she said after Saturday’s Final against Petra Kvitova.

In the U.S., Osaka beat one of the most revered and tested players in the world, Sarena Williams. This time she beat another young phenom in Kvitova. That just goes to show you Osaka’s versatility.
