With the win, Chiefs advance to AFC Championship game.

The Kansas City Chiefs left no doubt! They rolled Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts on a cold and frosty afternoon in Kansas City.

The Chiefs taught lessons at the highest level, outclassing the Colts, 31-13. The Chiefs’ defense played their best game of the season by stepping up and putting massive pressure on Luck all day. Luck and the Colts’ offense only managed  263 yards with only 176 of those coming through the air.

Travis Kelce caught seven passes for 108 yards (OregonLive.com).

On the other side, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs continued their assault, just like they have most of the year. The Chiefs put up 433 yards offensively and dominated time of possession–39 minutes to 20 minutes.

Mahomes looked sharp with 27 of 41 passing and 253 yards as he led his team to their first home playoff win since 1994.

The Chiefs looked like the dominant team they’ve been all year.

They now look forward to playing in the AFC Championship against the winner of Sunday’s Patriots-Chargers matchup.
