The two met recently in Los Angeles with Erin Bromaghim, Director of Olympic and Paralympic Development. The three met in the Office of the Mayor of Los Angeles, Mr. Eric Garcetti.

Los Angeles will be the host city for the 2028 Summer Olympics, and Bromaghim is focusing on enabling Los Angeles to be a more sustainable, inclusive, resilient, and innovative city in advance of the XXXIV Olympiad.

Rana and Osias Banaag propose that Traditional Sports and Games be included in the 2028 Games. Doing so will benefit LA’s image around the world, they contend.

Bromaghim is no stranger to U.N. priorities. A Conrad N. Hilton Foundation Fellow, she takes an international perspective to her work.
