Playing in a wheelchair, Montjane has never allowed her physical limitations to hinder reaching her dreams. Witness the fact that she holds nearly thirty titles and is the first African women to compete at Wimbledon.

Before the tournament, Montjane expressed joy at having the opportunity to compete: “This is unbelievable! I am honoured to join the star-studded line-up of the world’s best players at Wimbledon. This is a dream come true!”

An inspiration, Montjane gives hope to physically-limited people everywhere. Her message: there’s much to be gained by keeping on.
