The WWE has not been the same without the Viper, Randy Orton. Randy’s last outing was October 12th in a match teaming with Dean Ambrose. They faced the New Day. Orton and Ambrose lost and Randy has been gone since with a shoulder injury.

Since then, new faces have joined the Monday Night Raw (Smackdown): Aj Styles, Baron Corbin, Tyler Breeze, Luke Gallows (Return), Karl Anderson, Enzo Amore, Big Cass, The Vaudevillians, Sami Zayn, Shane McMahon (Return), and Apollo Crews. We have seen new teams too. There’s the (Former) League of Nations of Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, Rusev, and Bad News Barrett. You have Enzo and Cass, Vaudevillians, The Dudley’s (Return), and The Social Outcasts. And there are new rivalries like Roman Reigns and Aj. Styles, Chris Jericho and Dean Ambrose, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, The Miz and Cesaro, and even Charlotte and Natayla.

I thought the Orton, ‘Apex Predator,’ would return on May 2nd because Monday Night Raw was taking place in Orton’s hometown and current residence, St. Louis, Missouri. I thought for sure he’d return when they had the battle royal for the first contender of the United States Championship match against Kalisto. I was sure we’d see the Viper again, but no. Here came Sheamus, Titus O’Neil, and Baron Corbin. I was disappointed, but the match was pretty good.

Now I think the Viper may be back next week or, at the very least, at Extreme Rules. The other main superstar, John Cena, who has seemed to be out of action forever, could be returning on Memorial Day.

When Randy comes back he has said he’d love to be a ‘bad guy.’ He plays that role so much better than a John Cena-guy (nice guy). He also said he’d love to face Sami Zayn and Finn Balor. That would be very interesting, indeed.

Will the WWE have Orton going for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship? Or the United States or Intercontinental Championship? Maybe the tag team championship is worth a shot. Perhaps John Cena and Orton could form a tag team together. Wouldn’t that be great to see?

The WWE will be better again when we get to see both Orton and Cena. WWE has lost money and ratings since the Viper and Cena have been out.

Let’s hope they get back in action soon!
