Just watched ESPNs 30 for 30 program on The Big East. What a history! Gone now. Not only in basketball…. Eastern football is gone, too. Really sad. It ‘s a hole that can’t be filled either by the new BE or the American Conference. Don’t understand how all of this could be thrown away. That’s what it is — a throw away. Sports fans are the losers. The East is the only major population center without a major conference. No more SU v. GU. No more Pitt v. WVU. Now we have GU v. Butler and WVU v. Kansas State.
