‘Greek Freak” Takes NBA By Storm

Giannis Antetokounmpo could be on his way to superstar status.

I’ve been fortunate enough to see many professional, collegiate, and high school games. And every once in a while I get to see an athlete who’s above the rest. Two years ago I went to a Milwaukee Bucks game and witnessed a player who wasn’t that way at all. He was tall and quick, but he looked like a baby deer learning to walk.

But, oh man, how he’s changed! Giannis Antetokounmpo has emerged from raw talent to a player being hailed as a potential NBA MVP–even somebody who could possibly be The G.O.A.T. His most recent success was a
44-point game against the Portland Trail Blazers.

But what impresses me most about the man they call “The Greek Freak” is that he’s developing into a team leader. He gets players involved and understandings that to win you need everybody to contribute.
Giannis has been fun to watch–from bringing home a monster dunk to motoring on a fast break. This Freak could be on his way to superstar status.
In what looks to be a great season for the Bucks, there’s no question that Giannis will lead the way.
