Miami Dolphins Need New Blood At Quarterback

Storyline: The Dolphins should bench Ryan Tannehill, ride out ’16 with Matt Moore, and pick a top college QB early in the ’17 NFL Draft.

Over the past decade the Dolphins have been the epitome of mediocrity–even more than the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins. Miami, once again, is in the midst of a losing season.

There’s only one guy that the Dolphins need to point the finger at this year. He’s Ryan Tannehill. Even after Sunday’s stunning win over the Steelers, Tannehill has thrown more interceptions (7) than touchdown passes (6).

It’s time to move on, Miami! The previous Dolphins regime drafted Tannehill on potential.

That’s because he didn’t play enough in college to gauge on-field performance.

Since the draft, Miami has tried everything to help Tannehill succeed. The best move was Adam Gase.

If a QB can’t flourish under Gase, he’s not fit for the NFL. Gase made Tim Tebow look good and he made Jay Cutler look like an elite QB.

Look, I know it’s not even halfway through the ’16 season, but Miami is 2-4.

The Dolphins should bench Tannehill, ride it out with Matt Moore for the rest of the year, and start scouting Deshaun Kiser (or another top college QB) in the draft.

Miami is likely to be picking early in the ’17 NFL Draft.
