2. Philadelphia Eagles– Carson Wentz (QB North Dakota State)

Philadelphia made the controversial move in hopes to acquire Carson Wentz as a franchise signal caller. Wentz played in a pro-style offense at North Dakota State, while have the full slate of physical tools to be a star QB.

3. San Diego Chargers– DeForest Buckner (DE Oregon)

The San Diego Chargers lucked out after the Rams and Eagles trades in the NFL Draft. They have the option of any of the top positional prospects and add a dominant defensive lineman that can be a force against the run and pass.

4. Dallas Cowboys– Jalen Ramsey (DB Florida State)

The Cowboys are another team to benefit from the trades at the top, as the acquire the best athlete in the NFL Draft. Ramsey has the size, speed, coverage skills and tackling ability to be a dominant defensive back, whether he ends up at Safety or Cornerback.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars– Myles Jack (LB UCLA)

Though there are injury concerns with Jack’s knee, he is still projected to be an All-Pro caliber Linebacker. He has the athleticism to be a three-down linebacker covering sideline-to-sideline.

6. Baltimore Ravens- Laremy Tunsil (OT Mississippi)

The Baltimore Ravens have a history of taking the best player available and Laremy Tunsil was once considered for the first overall pick. He is the prototypical LT with his size and footwork to wart off NFL edge rushers and keep Joe Flacco upright.

About Brett Dickinson

I am the Creator and Developer of “The Sports Column.” I studied Journalism at Salisbury University before gaining experience in broadcast for large media markets, Baltimore (WBAL Sports) and Washington D.C. (SportsWeek with Lavar Arrington), with titles as a Producer and Videographer. I co-hosted the Brett and Barry Show on WNST 1570am Baltimore and produced for the other programs at the station. I am currently the Executive Director of the Ed Block Courage Award Foundation and an overnight producer/board operator for CBS Radio in Baltimore.
