Paul proves he belongs in the ring.
Saturday night was a big night for music-loving boxing fans. Live on Triller’s Fight Club pay-per-view, YouTuber and rising boxer Jake Paul faced off against Olympian Ben Askren. Fans were treated to incredible music and mightily entertained by fight commentators.
The winner of this match? With 1:59 left on the clock in Round 1, Paul knocked out Askren for his third win (third KO), after winning against KSI and Nate Robinson in 2018 and 2020, respectively.
I have to say, I am impressed. People have said that Paul couldn’t be a real boxer and only boxed for attention. But I think Paul has a future in the sport. And who knows? Maybe he’ll see venture into UFC.
