Here’s why.
Caitlin Clark has a magical energy about her; in addition, she has become a role model for women all over the world.

When Caitlin was only five years old, she played basketball in a boys’ league because her dad could not find a girls’ league for her age. She loved to play, and she loved to win as a child and now as an adult, of course.
Teaching children and teenagers about life goals is so important.
Caitlin was blessed to have a third-grade teacher who taught her about goals. She was assigned to work on a school project called “Future Dreams.” This is what she wrote as her goals in life: Be in the WNBA, live in a huge mansion, have three or four kids, get married, own a restaurant, win the Lottery, be in a basketball movie, be strong, get a basketball scholarship, travel globally, meet Maya Moore, and own two Bernese Mountain dogs.
I believe that having God in one’s life is a keystone to being truly successful. Caitlin was raised Catholic in West Des Moines, Iowa, and she and her brothers attended Catholic elementary and high school. She had a busy schedule, taking academic and Bible classes and keeping up with her sports. Caitlin once told the Des Moines Register that Dowling Catholic School is a wonderful place to attend because it focuses on Daily Prayer.
Clark is turning into a TV star as well. She has appeared in several TV commercials, including those for State Farm, Nike, and Gatorade. My favorite is the one for State Farm.
Caitlin has also appeared in several magazines, including Time, Slam, Sports Illustrated, and Athlon Sports.
I am so happy and proud of Caitlin. Her determination and hard work have taken her far. That is what happens when we focus on ourselves and not others.
Congratulations, Caitlin, I wish you the best!
