James Patrick and Florence Carmela recently welcomed Heath Schroyer, LSU Senior Deputy AD and Executive Director of External Relations, to The Forum Media Network for an in-depth conversation centered on his accomplished career in collegiate athletics.
During the opening portion of the interview, Schroyer reflected on his extensive résumé, spanning decades as both a basketball coach and an athletic administrator at the Division I level.
Schroyer began his coaching career after playing college basketball and steadily rose through the ranks, eventually serving as head coach at programs including the University of Portland and the University of Wyoming. He later transitioned into athletic administration, holding leadership roles at schools such as the University of Tennessee at Martin and McNeese State University before joining Louisiana State University.
