So Who is Jake Paul Going to Fight Next?

Me thinks a reality star boxer vs. a reality show star would make sense and dollars.

So, after losing decisively to Anthony Joshua, who’s Jake Paul going to fight next? Perhaps Jake’s next opponent should not be so formidable. He might consider stepping into the ring with Nile Lundgren, one of the stars of Owning Manhattan, the Netflix reality show about selling luxury real estate in New York City.

Yes, I’m proposing that Jake take a step back and brawl a reality star. Wait, don’t laugh. Hear me out.

By the way, as far as we know, Nile is no relation to Dolph Lundgren, the actor who played Rocky’s nemesis, Soviet fighter Ivan Drago. But we know for sure that Nile is imposing in his own right, an imposing 6-1 former inside linebacker at Trinity College in Connecticut.

In its recently released second season, Nile almost comes to blows with colleague Eric Shostak. He aggressively points his finger at Eric, who retaliates by nicking it. After that? Well, nothing. It all dissipated rather quickly.

When I saw it, it reeked of bad professional wrestling theatrics. But who knows. Real estate can get nasty.

Regardless, a real fight between Jake and Nile would be excellent for business – and it would be in Owning Manhattan’s wheelhouse. Previously, the show has worked in unique theatrics into its storylines, including a musical number and a cutting-edge fashion show. Perhaps a Jake-Nile fight could help sell an arena or at least sponsorship.

At the very least, it could sell something.

Ryan Serhant, the star of Owning Manhattan, would be a natural to be the ring announcer. Chloe Tucker Caine – the force behind the musical number, which helped sell a townhouse – would no doubt come up with a unique angle for the card girls. Dancing card gals, anyone? Fashionista Jade Shenker, who produced the aforementioned fashion show, would make all sartorial choices.

So what do you think? Season three, Owning Manhattan finale: Jake Paul versus Nile Lundgren. Buying?
