Transparency isn’t negotiable.
Every so often, you hear about a sports program that is in trouble. A teacher or headmaster at a school would say, “We need to cut the school sports team because of budget reasons.” There are always ways to make something work. The athletic director needs to be on par with that. Additionally, the headmaster, principal, or superintendent should collaborate with the athletic director or a sports program.

The goal is to keep it moving forward, not shutting it down.
The girls’ basketball program at Garfield High School (WA) has a problem. They fired their coach, more like forcing him out of his position. What’s the reason? The parents are asking, and they don’t know. The parents are saying that this decision was unethical and not in the best interest of the school. The state of Texas is a right-to-work state, and no one can give you a reason to be fired. I’ve had coaching friends experience this as well.
Another situation happened with the football program at Garfield High. The coach was forced out. The girls’ basketball season starts in a few months, and the community is scrambling for answers. Who will be their new coach? Who knows for now.
A person named Star Smiley started a petition on Change.org in the sports section, demanding answers. You can go there and sign to show your support.

I wonder what really happened.
