The Chief’s Andy Reid was working late in his office in May 2024 when a bullet entered through the window and lodged in-between his door and bathroom. The head coach of three Super Bowl-winning teams in Kansas City was not struck or hurt.
Even though the incident happened over a year ago, it was not made public until now.
Earlier this week, the Chiefs issued a statement about the incident and the investigative outcome. Read it here courtesy of KMBC.
The perpetrator remains at large, and with that, his/her intent remains unknown. Labeled as aggrevated assault, the case remains open.

About Matthew Paris
I grew up an avid Houston sports fan. After graduating from Texas Tech University in Theater and English Literature I worked as a marketing rep and coach for I9 Sports, coaching baseball, flag football, soccer, and basketball. I’m currently with Austin Sports Academy as a marketing coordinator, baseball and football coach, and coordinator of middle school and high school open play nights. I’ve written three short films for Looknow Productions and have also written articles on film marketing, producing, and directing. I really enjoy writing about sports and being an active contributor to The Sports Column.
Wow! Praying they find who did this!
