Smart got plenty of help as the Celtics scored a 20+ Game 2 win in Miami. The Series is now tied 1-1.

After missing Game 1 of the East finals, Celtics guard Marcus Smart suited up with a vengeance in their dominating win against the Heat 127-102. Smart was everywhere tonight with 24 points, nine rebounds, 12 assists, and three steals.

Smart got plenty of help from veteran center Al Horford who had 10 points, three rebounds, and three assists. And Jayson Tatum and Jalen Brown combined with 51 points with a +13 on-the-floor rating.

The Celtics were successful in containing the Heat. While Jimmy Butler continued his impressive playoff performance (29 points), the Celtics’ starters outscored Miami’s starters by 60 points, 90 to 30.

Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo were 1-8 from distance off the bench, and Bam Adebayo ended the night with only 6 points on 3-6 of shooting.

With the series tied one game apiece, the action shifts to Boston for Games 3 and 4. With offensive stars littering both lineups, the defense will likely tell the tale of who exits Boston with the series lead.
