Packers Defy Odds Against Cowboys, Look Forward To Vikings

Was it a Packers’ miracle? Not at all. It was Rodgers’ magic.

When an NFL team trails 21-6, odds are that team will lose. However, if that team has Aaron Rodgers, then defying the odds is a safe bet. That’s what happened last Sunday in Dallas and the Packers now sit 4-1 and in 1st place in the NFC North.

The Cowboys outplayed the Packers in the first half. After halftime, Coach Mike McCarthy ordered the running game going. Aaron Jones, a fifth-round rookie, did as he was told. He dismantled the Cowboys’ by running for 125 yards and averaging 6.6 yards a carry.

If the Packers can sustain that rushing threat, then the Packers will be the team to beat in the NFC.

Now it’s on to Minneapolis on Sunday for a contest the Minnesota Vikings and its top-tier defense. The Packers will need balanced play calling against this team.
It should be an exciting game as the Packers take their first look at this division challenger.
