The University of Pittsburgh now has one of the country’s top swimming and diving facilities in the ACC. And it’s by design–by Advent, that is.
Pitt contracted with Advent, a Nashville-based design and branding firm, to translate the vigor and enthusiasm surrounding the swim and dive program into a first-rate facility. To do that Advent focused on player areas, including the locker and team rooms.

“It’s probably the nicest space in the ACC and it’s definitely going to help with recruiting,” said head coach John Hargis.
New graphics with inspirational words, like “Inspire Pride,” are paired with players’ acknowledgements. Nameplates showcase player signatures and an Honor Wall highlights the feats of star alumni.
A comfy lounge space, along with team kitchen, make the innovative design a place where the students want to hang out and new recruits want to be part of.
The new space is the exclamation point on Panther Pride!
