This weekend Chelsea will face Newcastle United at St James Park, where Jose Mourinho has never won a single match. Out of 5 matches that Jose managed here, the team lost three while drawing two. Not to forget, it was Magpies who put the break on Chelsea’s 23 match winning streak. In that match, the Magpies took lead with Cissé as he came on as a substitute for Rémy Cabella and scored both of Newcastle’s goals as they defeated the then leaders Chelsea 2–1, despite Didier Drogba pulling one back.

Considering statistics, Papiss Cissé loves to score against Chelsea. He has scored four Premier league goals against Chelsea; as many as he has against Stoke & Swansea. Chelsea’s Eden Hazard too has exceptional love affair with Magpies. Eden Hazard has scored more goals against Newcastle in the premier league (4) than against any other opponent.

With Courtois suffering from knee injury, Begovic will continue to protect the net. Also, Jose’s man of the match against Arsenal, Diego Costa, is serving his retrospective three-match ban by FA for violent conduct during the game with Arsenal. He missed the Capital One Cup clash against Walshell, which was easily won by Chelsea by four goals to one. He will also miss encounters against Newcastle United & Southampton. In that case, the self-proclaimed “Special One” will have to choose between Loic Remy & Radamel Falcao. Defence will be the key for Chelsea as they were on the receiving end quite often this season conceding 12 goals.

It will be interesting to see Jose’s tactics in search of his first win at St James Park as this has to be easiest chance considering Newcastle form this season. Placed at 19th position in league table, the Magpies are yet to win their first match. Can Magpies hunt Jose Mourinho again?
