In the past several games the Orioles have become more of a contender in their division. Right now the Orioles are in second place, just two games out of second place (the Yankees are in first).

Delmon Young has been released and is waiting to be picked up by another team. Jimmy Paredes has been hitting .324 and we should be able to keep Paredes until 2020 because he’s young. Ryan Flaherty has been optioned to Triple-A Norfolk. That’s quite a surprise because he had 45 starts with the Orioles this season. Only a few days ago the Orioles recalled pitcher Kevin Gausman from Triple-A Norfolk and optioned another pitcher, Tyler Wilson, to Triple-A Norfolk. It’s sad to hear that some of our favorite players have been traded and sent to the minors but, hopefully, it will make for a better future for the Orioles.

Today, for the holiday, the Orioles had on amazing uniforms. Although their uniforms were spectacular, their game was not. The Orioles lost to the Chicago White Sox, 3-2–the fifth loss in the past six games.

This time last year, the Orioles were sitting with the same record (42-39). Last year, they were AL East Champions. Although we saw the Orioles make a slow start, they’re starting to get the feel again. That brings a sigh of relief for Baltimore’s fans everywhere. We know what our guys can do and we know what Buck can do.

How do you feel about the Orioles this year?
