This one—THE fight—is long overdue for boxing fans. For five years they’ve waited through negotiations, trash talking, and allegations of everything from steroids to fight-ducking.

With less than 24 hours before the match-up between Floyd “Money” Mayweather and Manny Paquiao fans are wondering if the hype is real.

Fans have to wait one more day to see if blows will be exchanged with the ferocity as the words. But there’s no question about the ferocity with which cash is being exchanged.

The mega-bout is estimated to bring in around $400 million dollars from Pay-Per-View, ticket sales, sponsorships, and merchandising. A staggering amount of money is pouring in from another source.

“America has to bet this fight” Says LVH Superbook vice president, Jay Kornegay. He thinks $80 million dollars will be booked by fight time. Kornegay speculates that “70% of the action will come in from Thursday on.”

Who will be the biggest spenders?

Former World Champion Adrien Broner told FightHype that he will be putting his money on …’Money’. “I’ll probably put like $25-50k on the fight,” said Broner, and at least “$10k on the stoppage…I’d say about eighth round.” And two-time Welterweight Champion, Andre Berto, stands to make $45k off a $100k bet if Mayweather wins on Saturday. That’s not a bad payday for the boxer on his day off.

And there’s nothing to squash the beef quite like $1.6 million dollars. In an interview with Power 105.1’s Morning Show, “The Breakfast Club,” rapper and business mogul 50 Cent said he’s “Taking the champ” for $1.6 million after speaking to Mayweather at a Chris Brown concert. It was their first exchange since the Twitter feud. “He can’t lose,” says 50.

Who, then, has the Pac’s back?

A million-dollar bet from author Tim Ferriss has to be a vote of confidence. As is a bet from the Hustler himself, Larry Flynt, who ambiguously told TMZ SPORTS: “I think Mayweather’s gonna win, but I’m betting Paquiao. Now figure that out.”

And let’s not forget the personal wager made between Mark Wahlberg and Diddy on Instagram–to the tune of $250k. The star of “The Fighter” is siding with Team Paquiao and Diddy is betting on the Money Team.

Whichever boxer takes the win tomorrow, one thing is certain: a few very happy people will be smiling along with him.
